Help Centre 55 Cram the Van with toy donations at Saturday’s Pancake Breakfast with Hamper in support of Share A Christmas campaign
Centre 55 will host its annual Pancake Breakfast with Hamper and Cram the Van Toy Drive on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 6.
The toy drive is in support of Centre 55’s 44th annual Share A Christmas program that helps local families in need during the holiday season.
Saturday’s event takes place between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Centre 55 is located at 97 Main St., at Swanwick Avenue.
Families are invited to bring the kids for a pancake breakfast that will also include a visit from Santa Claus and Centre 55’s Hamper the Reindeer.
Registration is not required to attend the breakfast. Admission will be the donation of a new unwrapped toy or a cash donation to support Share A Christmas. Toys and cash will also be welcomed at Centre 55 from residents in the area who want to make a donation on Saturday morning but are not attending the breakfast.
As in past year’s, the goal of the toy drive is to fill the Centre 55 delivery van with donated toys.

Share A Christmas helps East Toronto residents living between Lake Ontario, south of Danforth Avenue, east of Coxwell Avenue, and west of Victoria Park Avenue.
Until Dec. 17, community members are invited to support the program with by donating toys, cash, grocery gift cards, or by volunteering their time to assist with distribution and packing of items to be delivered.
