Woman suffers life-threatening injuries in stabbing near Danforth and Broadview avenues

A woman is being treated in hospital for life-threatening injuries after a stabbing earlier this morning in the Danforth and Broadview avenues area.

Police were called to a residential building on Broadview just north of Danforth at approximately 6:52 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, for reports of a stabbing.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), police said a woman had been transported to hospital by emergency run suffering from life-threatening injuries.

A man had been arrested near to the scene of the stabbing, police said.

There are few other details available about the incident and police are continuing to investigate.
