Woof-Fit Mini Triathlon raises $19,000

On foot, wheels and water, more than 50 dogs and their people woofed their way along Balmy Beach for the second annual Woof-Fit Mini Triathlon last Saturday. The event raised over $19,000 for canine cancer research through the Smiling Blue Skies Cancer Fund.

Note: An error in the June 24 print edition of the Beach Metro News listed the amount raised as $1,900. In fact, the participants and their sponsors raised ten times as much.
