No injuries reported in house fire on Coxwell Avenue near Gerrard Street East

No injuries have been reported in a house fire on Coxwell Avenue, between Fairford Avenue and Gerrard Street East.
Toronto Fire Services were dispatched to the incident at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
When fire crews arrived, smoke was visible coming from the two-storey house, which is the southern unit of a semidetached building on the west side of Coxwell Avenue which across the street from the No Frills store.
The incident is now under control.
Coxwell Avenue was closed between Fairford and Gerrard for about an hour.
Toronto police announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Coxwell Avenue had been reopened as of 3:15 p.m.
