The beginning of Pride Month on June 1 was welcomed in East Toronto with a parade and celebration in Dentonia Park.

Organized by East End Kids Pride, the event’s theme for 2025 was Magical Metamorphosis. The celebrations on June 1 included a parade, crafts, face painting, snacks and more.

The East End Kids Pride Parade Day was created when a seven-year-old asked her two moms if she could organize a Pride parade for her friends. Three hundred people showed up to that first parade in 2023 and the celebration has now become an East Toronto.

East End Kids Pride 2025 was presented by Shadowland Theatre and East End Arts.
