Deja Views: A look back to Main Street near the fire station in 1959

George Taylor recently dropped off the above photograph at our office in the Gerrard Street East and Main Street area.

It depicts his childhood residence, located close to the firehall on Main Street.

The image was captured by his father William John in 1959. Yes, as you can see by the photo below of how the building looks now, renovations are being done. I hope its old charm might come back soon.
