East York Civic Centre
Celebrating its 25th Anniversary, the East York Farmers’ Market is well into its season, running until end of October. Check it out at the East York Civic Centre, just across the street from Michael Garron Hospital, every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine. It’s a great place to pick up some farm fresh produce, chat with local farmers, and get to know your neighbours.

Withrow Park
Since 2006, the Withrow Park Farmers’ Market has been supporting local organic farmers and food producers by making it easier for community members to access great locally-grown food. Beyond fresh Ontario produce, visitors can enjoy dishes from local chefs, browse local artisans, and participate in the weekly Free Clothing Swap. Operating every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, June to mid-October, this market is a great way to start your weekend in East Toronto.

Greenwood Park
The Leslieville Farmers’ Market is in full swing at Greenwood Park and will operate every Sunday until the first week of November. This market is a weekly celebration of local food, community, and sustainable agriculture. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or a first-time visitor, you’ll find an excellent selection of fresh produce, artisanal goods, small-scale producers, and many unique treasures.

East Lynn Park
Another popular East Toronto market is East Lynn Park Farmers’ Market, a collaboration between Farmers’ Markets Ontario and the Danforth East Community Association. It features local farmers selling their produce and vendors offering specialty foods and drinks, with local brewing companies featured every fourth Thursday. Watch for various events, including local business pop-ups, with live music every week. A unique Kidpreneur Program allows kids to sell their goods.

Robertson Parkette
The Courtyard Farmers’ Market, in collaboration with local organizations, offers a weekly market near Coxwell and Danforth avenues. In addition to sponsoring various markets throughout the city, Courtyard Farmers’ Market also makes shopping local produce and products accessible through online shopping options, making their markets available to shoppers year-round.
