Four men face firearms charges after police search in the Main Street and Danforth Avenue area

Four people are facing firearms charges after police executed a search warrant in the Main Street and Danforth Avenue area earlier this week.

According to a Toronto police news release on Wednesday, Aug. 7, members of the 55 Division Major Crime Unit and the Emergency Task Force executed a “Criminal Code Search Warrant” in the area on Monday, Aug. 5.

Police alleged that a loaded handgun, a replica handgun, a replica sub-machine gun and firearm ammunition was seized.

Shandeep Singh, 20; Amirk Singh, 51; Harpreet Kaur, 50; and Rajwant Kaur, 29, (all of Toronto) face a number of charges including possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm without holding a licence or registration.
