Man in his 70s seriously injured after being struck by vehicle in Coxwell and O’Connor area

A man in his 70s has suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by the driver of a vehicle in the Coxwell Avenue and O’Connor Drive area early this morning.

Toronto police said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that they were called to the area for a report that a pedestrian had been struck at approximately 1:05 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5.

In the post, police said the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.

The police investigation into the incident is ongoing and as of 9:30 a.m. today, police said they did not have any updated information on the condition of the injured pedestrian.
