Firefighters Fight Cancer fundraiser featuring pink pancakes and fire truck this Saturday at Beach Fire Station

Local residents are invited to a Pink Pancakes event hosted by the Toronto Professional Firefighters Association Local 3888 at the Beach Fire Station on Queen Street East this Saturday morning in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

Pink Pancakes For A Cause takes place from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Beach Fire Station, 1904 Queen St. E., just east of Woodbine Avenue.

Firefighters will be cooking up pink pancakes for sale as part of the fundraising efforts for Princess Margaret and breast cancer research, and there will also be Firefighters Fight Cancer merchandises available to be purchased.

As well, Toronto Fire’s pink fire truck, decorated to highlights firefighters support of the fight against breast cancere, will be on the scene and available for residents to take photos beside. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Canada.
