Provincial Liberal leadership candidates to take part in Beaches-East York meet-and-greet sessions
The Beaches-East York Provincial Liberal Association and local MPP Mary-Margaret McMahon will be hosting a series of local meet-and-greets with the contenders for the Ontario Liberal leadership this month and next.
All of the meet-and-greet events will take place at Danforth Mennonite Church, 2174 Danforth Ave.
The first meeting is slated for tonight (Wednesday, Aug. 26) starting at 7 p.m. and featuring leadership candidates Eric Lombardi and Lee Fairclough.
On Thursday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. there will be a meet-and-greet with leadership candidate Navdeep Bains.
On Friday, Sept. 25, there will be a meet-and-greet with leadership candidates Stephanie Bowman and Dylan Morando.
The above events are open to all Beaches-East York Liberal Party members.
The Ontario Liberal Party will select its new leader in November of this year, and those with provincial Liberal memberships will be eligible to vote for their preferred candidate.
