Man sought after alleged sex assault on TTC bus that left from Victoria Park station
Toronto police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a man in connection with an alleged sexual interference incident that took place on a TTC bus in East Toronto last week.
According to police, on Thursday, July 16 at approximately 4:05 p.m., officers responded to a call for a reported sexual assault in the Victoria Park and Danforth avenues area.
Police said that a youth victim boarded a TTC bus at Victoria Park Subway Station. The victim sat in the first seat behind the driver, said police. The male suspect boarded the bus and sat beside the victim, engaging in conversation before allegedly sexually assaulting the victim, said police.
The suspect exited the bus at Danforth Avenue, said police.
The suspect is described as five-feet, eight-inches tall, weighing about 190 pounds and between 30 and 40 years old. He was wearing a green polo shirt, dark grey sweatpants and dark, fisherman style sandals.
An image of the suspect has been released by police in the hopes that someone can identify him.
