Works by members of the Beach Guild of Fine Art featured in Sunnybrook Art Show and Sale

The Leuty by David Jesik is among works by members of the Beach Guild of Fine Art now on display at the Sunnybrook Art Show and Sale taking place until July 10 at the North York hospital.

Eighteen members of the Beach Guild of Fine Art (BGFA) will be displaying a total of 82 original works at Sunnybrook hospital until July 10, giving back to those in need through art.

The Sunnybrook Art Show and Sale, is run entirely by the gift shop and hospital volunteers, providing fundraising for the hospital, with profits going to both patient care and artists.

The show and sale began on May 11, and is part of the many exhibitions that members of the BGFA takes part in.

The show and sale can be found on the A and B wing of the ground floor corridor, and the C to E first floor corridor at Sunnybrook.

Also, the BGFA’s own Spring Show is slated to take place at Beach United Church from May 29 to 31.

The free, volunteer-run event gives guests the opportunity to support local artists and purchase original pieces, with a portion of proceeds going towards supporting the Beach Guild of Fine Art.

The show will feature a variety of mediums, including oil, acrylic and pastel works, alongside smaller art accessories such as magnets, offering something for a range of tastes and budgets.
