Man and woman sought in connection with alleged theft and fraud in Victoria Park Avenue and Kingston Road area

Toronto police are asking the public for help to locate a man and a woman wanted in connection with an investigation into an alleged theft in the Kingston Road and Victoria Park Avenue area last month.

At around 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, Toronto police responded to a call for an alleged theft in the area.

According to police, a wallet placed in a locker was allegedly stolen. Police said a credit card from the wallet was then allegedly used to make purchases at a store.

Cristina-Monalisa Honciu, 37, is wanted on a number of charges including theft of a credit card, theft under $5,000, and fraud under $5,000.

She is described by police as being of slim build, last seen wearing a black coat, white hat and a scarf.

Mihai-Valentin Caslariu, 48, is wanted on a number of charges including theft of a credit card, use of a stolen credit card, theft under $5,000, and fraud under $5,000.

He is described by police as being of medium build, bald with a black and grey beard. He was last seen wearing a black winter coat, beige winter toque, grey shirt, white running shoes, glasses and a black bag.

Images of both of the suspects have been released in the hopes that someone will make police aware of their whereabouts.
