Centre 55’s Soup Supreme Competition slated for Feb. 26

East Toronto residents are invited to Centre 55 for the annual Soup Supreme Competition next week.

The competition takes place on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. and will feature soups from Donene Lashbrook, Corbin Catering and Foods, Hutchie Catering & Caribbean Restaurant, and The Kingston House. Cobs Bread will be providing the bread.

Each year the fundraiser for Centre 55 sees local restaurants compete for the coveted Silver Ladle Award for best soup. The 2025 champion was The Kingston House.

Attendees vote on which soup is the best.

Seating is limited, so attendees will be served on a “first come, first served” basis. Centre 55 is located at 97 Main St.
