Police concerned for safety of missing 90-year-old man last seen in Coxwell and Gerrard area

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help locating Joseph, 90, last seen on Thursday, Jan. 29, in the Coxwell Avenue and Gerrard Street East area.

Toronto police’s concern for the wellbeing of a missing 90-year-old man last seen in East Toronto on Jan. 29 is growing as the search for him continues.

Police said Joseph was last seen in the area of Coxwell Avenue and Gerrard Street East at 11:48 p.m. on the night of Thursday, Jan. 29.

Officers are continuing to search for Joseph, and police said they have been advised by his family members that he requires medication that he does not have with him.

Police said he may be on foot or driving a grey-blue Toyota Corolla with Ontario licence plate DCKX933.

Joseph was last seen wearing a beige coat, red and black striped vest, blue jeans and blue rubber walking shoes. 

Community members are being asked to keep an eye out for either the car or the missing man on foot. Residents are also being asked to check their sheds and garages as Joseph may have sought shelter from the extreme cold of the past few days.
