Two men arrested, female suspect sought in connection with alleged assault in Danforth and Greenwood avenues area

Toronto police have arrested two men and are looking to identify a female suspect in connection with an alleged assault in the Danforth and Greenwood avenues area on the night of Tuesday, Jan. 6.
According to police, officers were called to the area at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 6 for a reported assault.
Police alleged a female and two males approached a man on the street and physically assaulted him. The female then allegedly used “an improvised blunt weapon” to strike the victim, police said.
The victim was able run away and a bystander called police. The victim’s injuries were not life threatening, police said.
When officers arrived, they located two male suspects. The female suspect was last seen walking east on the north side of Danforth Avenue.
Peter Blake, 35, of no fixed address, and Michael Ayue Beny, 44, of Toronto, were arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm.
Police are still looking to identify the female suspect.
She is described as five-feet, five-inches to five-feet, seven-inches tall, with long dark hair, and a medium‑to‑heavy build. She was last seen wearing a black Canada Goose winter coat, black pants, and brown boots.
Images of the female suspect have been released by police in the hopes someone can identify her.
