Residents invited to meet with local councillors at East York New Year’s Levee this Sunday afternoon

The East York New Year’s Levee is set for the afternoon of Sunday, Jan. 11, at the East York Civic Centre on Coxwell Avenue.

East Toronto residents are invited to meet with their local city councillors at a New Year’s levee planned for the East York Civic Centre on the afternoon of Sunday, Jan. 11.

Beaches-East York Councillor Brad Bradford, Toronto-Danforth Councillor Paula Fletcher and Don Valley West Councillor Rachel Chernos Lin will be among those attending the annual East York New Year’s Levee from 2 to 4 p.m.

The East York Civic Centre is located at 850 Coxwell Ave.

Sunday’s levee is presented by the East York Foundation and the East York Hall of Fame.

Those attending are asked to bring donations of non-perishable food items for donation to local food banks.

Along with refreshments, conversation and socializing among neighbours, the East York levee will also feature activities and a colouring table for children.
