Christmas Miracles food bank fundraiser at Birchcliff Bluffs United to feature guest readers including Steve Paikin and Avis Favaro

The annual Christmas Miracles: Magic of Hope fundraiser for the Bluffs Food Bank and Birchcliff Bluffs United Church will take place on Friday, Dec. 12.

Birchcliff Bluffs United Church, 33 East Rd., will hosts it annual Christmas Miracles: The Magic of Hope show this Friday night.

The event features Christmas stories and songs, and is a fundraiser for the Bluffs Food Bank and the church.

Storytellers slated to be reading at the Friday, Dec. 12, show include Steve Paikin, Ann Ward, Avis Favaro, Scarborough Southwest MPP Doly Begum, and John Moore.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Randy Vancourt and the church choir, Daniel Giverin and Loralie Vancourt, and the Ault Sisters with David Warrack.

The live presentation takes place starting at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

There will also be an online version available for viewing from Dec. 19 to Jan. 4.
