Man sought in connection with alleged van theft in Danforth and Jones avenues area

Toronto police are looking for a man wanted in connection with an alleged motor vehicle theft in the Danforth and Jones avenues area last weekend.
In a news release on Oct. 8, police said the alleged theft took place on Saturday, Oct. 4, at approximately 9 a.m.
Police said the victim was making a delivery in the area. He parked his white cargo van to complete the delivery. While the delivery was underway, the suspect allegedly stole the victim’s vehicle, police said.
The suspect then fled the scene, allegedly operating the van in a reckless manner. Police said the vehicle was found abandoned a short time later.
Police are asking for help in identifying the suspect. He is described as male, between 45 and 65-years old. He was last seen wearing a grey quarter zip and blue jeans. Police have released a photo of the suspect in the hopes that someone will be able to identify him.
