Toronto police have arrested a fourth person in connection with the shooting deaths of two young men in the Logan and Bain avenues area in April of this year.

In an Oct. 7 news release, police said a 20-year-old man had been arrested on Monday, Oct. 6, and charged with first degree murder in connection with deaths of Toronto residents Quentin Caza, 18, and Jeremy McNeil, 20, in the Logan and Bain avenues area on the night of Tuesday, April 15.

In May, police announced the arrests of two 17-year-old males and an 18-year-old man in connection with the fatal shootings. All three were charged with first degree murder. The two 17 year olds cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The 18-year-old who was arrested on May 26 and charged is Abdulrahman Zein, 18, of Toronto.

In yesterday’s news release, police said Kyle Taylor, 20, of Toronto, was arrested on Oct. 6 and has been charged with two counts of first degree murder.

“Thanks to the hard work of our homicide team, we have now arrested and charged a fourth suspect in the murder investigations of Quentin Caza and Jeremy McNeil,” said Det. Sgt. Alan Bartlett of the Toronto police Homicide and Missing Persons Unit in the news release.

“Our focus will always be on finding and arresting those who commit violent crimes in our city and putting them before the courts.”

At the time of Taylor’s arrest, police said a 23-year-old Toronto man was also arrested at the scene and is facing a number of firearms charges.

Caza and McNeil were Toronto’s ninth and 10th homicide victims of 2025.

Officers were called to the area of Logan and Bain avenues at approximately 11 p.m. on April 15, for reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived they found the two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead at the scene and the other later died in hospital.
