Deja Views: Lick’s and Lion on the Beach along Queen Street East remembered

With fondness I recall both of these establishments shown in the photo above.

The Lion on the Beach, great play on words, was a great meet up bar and Lick’s was a campy but delicious burger joint.

The photo above was taken in the early 1990s at the corner of Kenilworth Avenue and Queen Street East.
