Suspect sought after bicycle thrown off Leaside Bridge onto Don Valley Parkway

Toronto police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect after a bike was allegedly thrown from the Leaside Bridge onto traffic below.
A vehicle travelling northbound on the Don Valley Parkway was truck by the thrown bicycle. The driver suffered minor injuries but the vehicle was severely damaged, police said.
Officers were called to the Leaside Bridge over the Don Valley Parkway at approximately 3:50 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31, for the incident.
Police said a witness on the bridge confronted the suspect and was then allegedly assaulted. The suspect then fled the area in an unknown direction
The male suspect is described as white, in his 20’s, with short dark hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a grey shirt.
Police have released Images in the hopes the suspect can be identified.
