Toronto Beaches fall one goal short of Ontario Junior Lacrosse League championship final last night

Toronto Beaches Junior A lacrosse team was eliminated last night in the Ontario Junior Lacrosse League’s (OJLL) second-round playoff series against the Whitby Warriors.
Falling just one goal short in a 10-9 loss, the Beaches missed their chance to advance to the OJLL championship series for the Iroquois Cup.
Whitby will now face the Orangeville Northmen for the cup.
Last night’s game was played at the Pickering Recreation Complex at 1867 Valley Farm Dr., the Beaches’ temporary home since ice has been put back in Ted Reeve Arena.
