Indian Chess Legacy Festival to be hosted by the Beaches Chess Club this Sunday

Chess fans are invited to attend the Beaches Chess Club’s Indian Chess Legacy Festival this Sunday, July 13.
From 11:30 to 3 p.m., underneath the sheltering roof of the Leuty Pavilion in Kew Gardens at the foot of Lee Avenue, chess enthusiasts are welcome to come and celebrate the game’s deep-rooted history and origins in India.
The free event is open to players of all ages and skill levels with no registration required.
Participants can join any of the set activities, including casual games throughout the day, competitive blitz, and the chess club’s ongoing “Level Up Your Knowledge” beginners’ course.
If you’re interested in sharpening your chess skills or simply enjoying a day of friendly competition, the Beaches Chess Club welcomes you to Sunday’s event..
