Man in his 20s stabbed after fireworks dispute in Withrow Park; police seeking number of teenage suspects

A man in his 20s suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in a stabbing that took place in Withrow Park last Saturday after a dispute over fireworks being set off in the park.
According to Toronto police, officers were called to the park in the Carlaw and Bain avenues area, south of Danforth Avenue, at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, for a reported stabbing.
Police said a group of teens were setting off fireworks in the area and became involved in a verbal altercation with the stabbing victim. The teens then assaulted and stabbed the victim before fleeing the area, police alleged. The suspects were last seen running north from the park towards Danforth Avenue.
The male suspects are described as ages 14 to 15-years-old, wearing all dark clothing and facemasks.
