Junior A lacrosse action at Ted Reeve Arena tonight will see Toronto Beaches host the Whitby Warriors

Now that the NHL playoffs have ended and the Stanley Cup has been awarded, local sports fans can turn their attention to Junior A lacrosse action taking place tonight in East Toronto.

The Toronto Beaches Junior A Lacrosse team will be hosting the Whitby Warriors at Ted Reeve Arena, 175 Main St., starting at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 19.

Playing in the 11-team Ontario Junior Lacrosse League (OJLL), the Beaches are currently sitting in fourth place in the regular season standings with a record of seven wins and five losses. The Warriors are in third place with a record of eight wins and two losses.

The Beaches are looking to make it their third win a row in tonight’s contest. Most recently, the Beaches beat the Brampton Excelsiors  8-6 on June 15. Before that they beat Kitchener-Waterloo 11-10.
