Man in his 20s dies after being stabbed near Danforth and Coxwell avenues

A man in his 20s has died after being stabbed last night in the Danforth and Coxwell avenues area.
Police were called to the area at approximately 11:03 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, for reports of a stabbing. When officers arrived they found the male victim on Danforth Avenue, just east of Coxwell Avenue and west of Woodington Avenue, suffering from stab wounds.
The man was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police said the suspect was described as five-feet, five-inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a grey hoodie and dark pants.
Investigators had parking lots on the north side of Danforth Avenue between Woodington and Coxwell taped off as they investigated.
Reports indicate the victim may have been stabbed in the parking lot behind the bank at the northwest corner of Danforth and Woodington and then made his way through the parking lot to the west where he collapsed on Danforth Avenue.
At this time, police have not released any information on the circumstances surrounding the incident or what may have led to the stabbing.
