Toronto Beaches to host Peterborough in Ontario Junior Lacrosse League action tonight at Ted Reeve Arena

The Toronto Beaches Junior A Lacrosse team will play host to the Peterborough Jr. Lakers tonight at Ted Reeve Arena.

The Tuesday, June 10, game will start at 8 p.m. Ted Reeve Arena is located at 175 Main St.

Heading into tonight’s game, the Beaches have a record of five wins and three losses and sit in third place in the 11-team Ontario Junior Lacrosse League standings.

The Beaches most recent game was Friday, June 6, in Orangeville where they lost a close one 8-7 to the Northmen.

In earlier games, Toronto won its season-opener 13-6 on the road against the St. Catharines Athletics, then split a home-and-home series with the Six Nations Arrows. The Beaches dropped their home-opener 9-4 to the Arrows at Ted Reeve Arena on May 22, but then returned the favour with a 14-8 win over Six Nations in a game played at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena on May 25.

On May 29, the Beaches beat the Brampton Excelsiors 14-6 in a game at Ted Reeve Arena. On June 2, the Beaches beat Kitchener-Waterloo 12-9 in a game also played at Ted Reeve Arena. On June 5 at Ted Reeve, the Beaches beat the Oakville Buzz 14-11.
