Man sought in connection with alleged robbery and assault near Queen Street East and Victoria Park Avenue

Toronto police are looking to identify this man in connection with an alleged assault and robbery in the Beach on the morning of Monday, May 5.

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted in connection with an alleged robbery and assault in the Queen Street East and Victoria Park Avenue area yesterday morning.

According to police, the victim was walking on the sidewalk in the area at approximately 10:50 a.m. on Monday, May 5, when they were approached and then allegedly pushed to the ground by a male suspect.

Police alleged the man assaulted the victim and then took a bag from them before fleeing the area. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The male suspect is described as five-feet, 10-inches to six-feet tall, with blonde curly hair and a beard. He was wearing a white/blue shirt, black pants and white shoes.
