Man seriously injured after stabbing at Victoria Park Station Saturday night

A man has suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries after being stabbed at Victoria Park Station on Saturday night.

Police were called to the bus bay area of the TTC station, on Victoria Park Avenue north of Danforth Avenue, at 7:34 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, for reports that a man had been stabbed.

Officers found the male victim with stab wound injuries and he was rushed to hospital by emergency run.

Police said the suspect or suspects fled towards the westbound subway platform of the station after the stabbing. At this time there are no suspect descriptions and police are continuing to investigate.
