Provincial Election 2025: Polling stations open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today for local voters to cast their ballots

Polling stations for today’s Ontario election are open across the province, including the ridings of Beaches-East York, Scarborough Southwest and Toronto-Danforth, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, for voters to cast their ballots.

Today (Thursday, Feb. 27) is Election Day in Ontario.

Locally, voters in the ridings of Beaches-East York, Scarborough Southwest and Toronto-Danforth will have from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today to cast their ballot.

The locations of local polling stations will be on the Voter Information Cards (VIC) sent out by Elections Ontario. However, if you have not received a VIC yet, don’t worry as you will still be allowed to vote today providing you are eligible to do so.

To be eligible to vote in this provincial election, you must be a Canadian citizen, a resident of Ontario, and be 18 years of age or older. If you have a VIC, bring it to your polling station along with a piece of ID with your name and home address. If you do not have your VIC, bring the required ID with your name and home address to your polling station.
