Mark Vendramini to speak about music and pop culture at The Beach and East Toronto Historical Society on Feb. 12

Music Historian Mark Vendramini will be the guest speaker at The Beach and East Toronto Historical Society’s meeting this week.

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 7 to 8 p.m. Vendramini will speak about Yonge Street’s music and pop culture history.

His presentation will take place at the Beaches Sandbox, 2181 Queen St. E.

Born and raised in Toronto, author Vendramini has spent countless hours exploring the city and its neighbourhoods.

The Feb. 12 presentation is free to attend and all are welcome.
