Suspect sought in alleged theft of beer from East Toronto convenience store

Toronto police are investigating after two cases of beer were allegedly stolen from a convenience store in the Gerrard Street East and Main Street area earlier this week.

The owners of Your Convenience at the northeast corner of Gerrard Street East and Enderby Avenue contacted Beach Metro Community News to share a photo of the alleged suspect in the incident.

According to a report filed with Toronto police, a man entered the store at approximately noon on Monday, Jan. 20, and allegedly took two six packs of Old Milwaukee Ice without paying.

Toronto police confirmed to Beach Metro Community News that they are “actively” investigating the incident.
