Police seek man in connection with alleged sexual assault in Main and Danforth area last year

Toronto police are asking for help from the public to locate a man who is wanted in connection with an alleged sexual assault after officers responded to a call in December of 2023.

According to police, the alleged assault took place around the intersection of Danforth Avenue and Main Street on Friday, Dec. 8, 2023.

Police alleged a man reportedly met with the victim at a bar in the area, after which they went back to the victim’s residence, which is when the alleged assault took place.

Terry McKnight, 29, of Toronto, is wanted on several charges including sexual assault with a weapon and failure to comply with a release order.

Police have released his image in the hopes that someone will recognize him and contact them regarding his whereabouts.
