Bucks for Bella Fundraising Jam slated for The Duke Live on Nov. 16

The Bucks for Bella Fundraising Jam will take place at The Duke Live in Leslieville on the night of Saturday, Nov. 16.

The event is a fundraiser for 32-year-old Bella who has a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy and now lives at Harmony Place in Scarborough.

The fundraiser will help Harmony Place and support Bella’s care.

The Duke Live is located at 1225 Queen St. E., and doors open for the Jam at 6 p.m.

Organizer Gerard Myers said the format for the evening will be a “jamioke” featuring live musicians playing tunes while people sing.

The would-be singers bid (or buy tickets) to perform some songs with the band, which will also be doing a number of songs themselves as well.

Band for the Bucks for Bella Fundraising Jam is Rolling Thunder, featuring Niko Love, Mike McAven, JD Bass, Niall Mellors and Gerard Myers.
