No injuries reported in three-alarm residential fire on Kippendavie Avenue

A three-alarm fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. Friday morning, impacting three houses on Kippendavie Avenue, just south of Kew Beach Junior Public School.

According to firefighters on the scene Friday morning, the fire affected homes at 71, 69, and 67 Kippendavie Ave. and no injuries were reported. Toronto Fire Services were first called to attend a fire at 69 Kippendavie Ave. which spread to two adjacent residences.

Several fire trucks remain on the scene on Friday morning dealing with smoke, and Kippendavie Avenue is open to pedestrian traffic only. Kew Beach Junior Public School is open and ready to welcome students, as it was not affected by the fire.

Fire crews remain on site Friday morning ensuring the fire is fully extinguished.
