Thanksgiving Food Drive held by Centre 55 is collecting donations for Grace Pascoe Food Bank

Community Centre 55 is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive in support of East Toronto’s Grace Pascoe Food Bank.

The food drive will continue until Oct. 9.

Donations can be dropped off at the front reception area at Centre 55, located at 97 Main St., between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The Grace Pascoe Food Bank is located at 72 Main St. at the site of Calvary Baptist Church.

Contributions of non-perishable food items can help make a difference to the Centre 55 Thanksgiving Food Drive can make a big difference in the lives of those who depend on the Grace Pascoe Food Bank

Items that are most needed by the food bank for distribution at Thanksgiving are canned vegetables and fruit, canned soups and stews rice, pasta, bean, boxed stuffing and mashed potatoes, canned cranberry sauce, canned gravy, peanut butter, cereal, oatmeal, canned fish and canned meat, baby food, baby formula, granola bars and school snacks.
