Police seek to identify man wanted in connection with alleged stabbing near Greenwood and Danforth in July
Toronto police are requesting the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with an investigation into an alleged aggravated assault in the Greenwood and Danforth avenues area earlier this year.
According to police, officers were called to the scene of a reported stabbing in the area on Wednesday, July 17, at approximately 2:25 a.m.
Police said the victim and a male suspect were at a restaurant in the area and when they stepped outside they became involved in an altercation. The suspect then allegedly stabbed the victim with an edged weapon, police said.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as five-feet, nine-inches to six-feet tall, with short hair, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, black shoes, and a dark baseball hat.
