No subway service between Woodbine and Kennedy stations this weekend due to planned track work

Local transit riders are reminded that there will be a full closure of subway service on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth between Woodbine and Kennedy stations this weekend.

The closure began at 11 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, and will continue until 6 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 30.

The closure is for planned track work, said the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).

There will be shuttle buses running at all subway stations impacted by the closure: Woodbine, Main Street, Victoria Park, Warden and Kennedy.

The TTC said that Woodbine and Kennedy are both accessible stations, and riders requiring a connection at a station that may not be accessible are asked to please speak to any TTC employee at the stations for assistance.

While there will be no subway service, all of the impacted stations will remain open for customers to load their PRESTO card, purchase PRESTO tickets and connect to surface routes.
