The Danforth East Community Association (DECA) held its annual Arts and Crafts Fair at East Lynn Park last weekend, attracting over 1,000 visitors.
Attendees of all ages enjoyed a variety of arts, crafts, live music, and food from vendors like The Pop Stand, Twisted Tornado Potatoes, Link Haus Sausages, Morning Parade Coffee, and Bhojan Ghar.
Over 70 local artists showcased their work across 62 booths, offering crafts, paintings, jewellery, and more.

The fair also featured a special booth called Community Fridges, encouraging visitors to contribute to local food collections. This program highlighted the event’s commitment to supporting those in need within the community.
Katherine Flynn, owner of Bee Jewellery, said the day was a success. “It’s been great sharing my work, and I’ve made a profit,” she said.

DECA board member Jennifer Scott estimated attendance between 1,400 and 1,500. “We’re grateful to Councillor Brad Bradford for sponsoring the city permit, which made this event possible,” Scott said.
The fair will return in the third week of September 2025.
