Update: Police looking for ‘2-3 suspects’ after shooting death of man in area of Joseph Duggan Road and Lake Shore Boulevard East

Toronto police updated media on Friday afternoon regarding the fatal shooting of a man that took place in a residential area just north of Woodbine Beach on the night of Thursday, Aug. 8.
Det. Sgt. Trevor Grieve said the incident happened at approximately 10:40 p.m. and that they have limited information regarding the suspects at this time. No ID was found on the victim and they have not yet confirmed identification.
Grieve said they believe this is a targeting shooting and are interested in seeing any video footage that residents in the area may have available from security cameras and video doorbells. Police believe the victim is in his mid-twenties.
