Police seek suspect in alleged sexual assault in Woodbine and Danforth avenues area

Toronto police are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a man wanted in connection with an alleged sexual assault in the Woodbine and Danforth avenues area last month.

According to police, officers responded to a call on Thursday, July 3, at approximately 2:51 p.m., for an alleged sexual assault.

Police said the victim was walking in the area when approached by a man. The man allegedly sexually assaulted the victim and then fled north on Woodbine Avenue, police said.

The man is described being 20-30 years old, five-feet, 10-inches tall, with a thin build, and has short curly black hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, black shoes, and was carrying a black bag.

Police believe there may be more victims.

A photo of the suspect has been released in the hopes that someone can identify him.

Police are looking to identify this man in connection with an investigation into an alleged sexual assault on the afternoon of July 3 in the Woodbine and Danforth avenues area.
