The image above of Queen Street East and Coxwell Avenue was taken at the same time Montreal was hosting the Summer Olympics (1976).
The viewpoint is looking east, standing on Queen.
Behind the photographer would have been one of my favourite restaurants, now long gone, the Tulip.
Today, the area close to this intersection has become a developer’s dream come true.
