Two men face gun and drug charges after police investigation in Main Street and Danforth Avenue area
Two men are facing drug and firearm charges after police executed a search warrant in the Main Street and Danforth Avenue area last week.
According to police, members of the 55 Division Major Crime Unit Guns and Gangs Task force carried out a Criminal Code Search Warrant in the area on Friday, May 26.
As a result of the warrant, police allegedly seized various weapons including a loaded handgun, a bolt action long rifle, firearm ammunition, three bulletproof vests, a quantity of Fentanyl and Percocet, and a quantity of Canadian cash.
Jason Hobbs, 39, of Toronto, is facing a number of charges including two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, three counts of possession of prohibited or restricted weapon, and three counts of possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking.
David Dir, 27, of Toronto, is facing a number of charges including two counts of possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon, and two counts of use of a forged document.
