
A man has suffered serious injuries after being struck by the driver of a car earlier this morning in East York.
According to reports, the man was taking groceries out of the trunk of car at about 6 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, when he was struck by the driver of a vehicle. The incident happened near Barrington and Doncaster avenues, just northeast of Main Street and Danforth Avenue.
The injured man was taken to hospital by emergency run and his injuries are considered to be life-threatening, according to a CP24 report.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the man remained at the scene.
