Located at 359 Eastern Ave. is Eureka HUB, a private entrepreneur club on the east end of Toronto that opened September 2018. The company began five years ago in Irvine California; “the American location differs a bit from Toronto as we offer a large event space for gala’s and weddings in the Orange County” says Avree Scarcello, coordinator at Eureka HUB.
“In California we also hold Eureka FEST, one of the biggest tech festivals in the state” she says, “Eureka FEST 2019 will be from April 2nd-6th in Irvine, the five-day festival is centred around tech and start ups where a panel of speakers and various events are held.”
“We have a great networking space in Toronto as well” Scarcello continues, “this location is a full functioning co-working space and event platform. We expanded our Toronto office this month with renovations being finished on February 1st.”
“Our company decided to grow since the Toronto market is amazing for technology, we’re located where East Harbour will be opening in 2020 with the GMC innovation lot at few streets down” the coordinator says.
“We really try to centre around up and coming tech and actually pushed to have our Toronto location on the east end”, Scarcello explains “this area has really developed and we’ve heard so many good things coming from Eastern Avenue.”
Eureka HUB typically entertains companies with up to twelve people, offering many single desks that can accommodate smaller start up companies with one or two people.
The company also has several office pods available that can accommodate two to 12 people. Individual entrepreneurs rates can range from $125-$500 monthly; office pods average around $3500 to rent monthly.
“The space has a lot of start up’s, entrepreneurs, and people just getting started giving them foot in the door” Scarcello says, “it’s great to see them grow while using our facilities; we have 24 hour access to the building, as well as free coffee and tea. We are also a pet friendly space, so lots of dogs come through the building.”
The Toronto office also runs events and socials 3-4 times a month which are always open to Eureka members The company coordinator explains that “as of May 2019 we will have a rooftop patio for events too; we have an amazing view of the CN tower and Toronto skyline and are excited to share it.”
Eureka HUB is not only a cooperate space, events are available for the east end to host as well, reach out for any type of event you have in mind and call 416-275-5134 or visit eurekahub.com/toronto
