The Ted Reeve Thunder Minor Atom AA team won their City Championship against the Mississauga Terriers. The team had an incredible season, winning 73 games, while losing only five and tying in four. The team also used their dedication and respect for each other, their opponents and the game itself to win three major tournaments over the past season.

The Ted Reeve Thunder Midget Junior A team capped a stunning season with a number of big wins, winning 3-1 in a best of five series against the Toronto Eagles at the Scotiabank Midget Junior A Championship. The team also picked up trophies in each tournament they entered, including the Lake Placid Tournament last fall (during which the team went undefeated and allowed only a single goal against) and the North York Knights Challenge Cup in late January and early February (again going undefeated).

Beacher Russel Kelly, who competes with East York Gymnastics, won the Level 3 – 10 to 12 years Gymnastics Ontario Provincial Championship in Windsor in early April.

Joining him from his club were seven other athletes winning provincial titles in their divisions: Justice Balfour, Level 5 – 9 years, Chloe Lin, Level 5 – 11 years, Kiera Wai, Pre Novice National Elite, Paige McInally, Pre Novice National Aspire, Bryce Abrenica, Level 1, and Liam Perry, Level 5.

Kelly has been sized up for his Ontario Team uniform and will be heading off to the Eastern Canadian Championships in May for his final competition this year.
