Jordan Lowe, 20, was named by 55 Division as last week’s honouree for Wanted Wednesdays.

Police allege that a male was in a stolen vehicle that was the subject of a police chase downtown before officers called off the chase for safety reasons. The vehicle was found and DNA evidence was recovered.
Lowe is wanted by 55 Division for Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 and Fail to Comply with Probation. He is also wanted by Halton Regional Police and he may be hiding in the Burlington area.

A 35-year-old male was robbed near Gerrard Street East and Scarborough Road on Oct. 7. At about 1 a.m., the victim was approached from behind by a male who started to speak to him, then pulled out a knife. The suspect demanded property from the victim, who refused and fought back. The suspect punched the victim and took a cell phone, cash and keys from him before fleeing the scene. The victim suffered minor injuries.

A 22-year-old male was near Hanson Street and Coxwell Avenue just before midnight on Oct. 7 when a man approached from behind. The suspect held a metallic object against the victim’s neck and demanded the contents of his pockets. The victim complied, then a second male approached and searched the victim, before both suspects fled the scene southbound on Monarch Park Avenue.
