A charge has been laid in the March 7 death of Kayleigh Callaghan-Belanger. The five-year-old, who was crossing the road at Cliffside Drive and East Haven Drive with three other children, and was struck by a City of Toronto garbage truck making a left-hand turn. The 64-year-old driver has been charged with careless driving and turn not in safety. He will appear in court on June 6.

Kevin Dabrowski, 18, is the latest member of 55 Division’s Wanted Wednesdays club. He is wanted for assault with intent to resist arrest, assault, and obstructing a peace officer. If you have information contact the police at 416-808-5500, or the Crime Stoppers contacts above.

On April 22 at about 8 p.m. a 38-year-old woman was walking in the Gerrard and Coxwell area when two men approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her. One man is described as black, thin, clean shaven with a shaved head, and wearing a blue or black hoodie and possibly blue jeans. The other is dark complexioned with a large build, cornrows, facial hair, wearing a black leather jacket and possibly blue jeans. Call 416-808-7474 or Crime Stoppers as listed above.

A 15-year-old boy was in a bus shelter at Victoria Park and Dawes Road on April 20 at 10 p.m. when a man with a handgun took his iPhone.

A 14-year-old boy was approached by three youths at around 3:20 p.m. on April 24 at Coxwell and Rhodes Avenues. They pushed him into a fence, searched his pockets, took his watch and punched him.

On April 17 at 4 p.m. an 18-year-old was at Danforth and Woodington Avenues when a youth attacked him from behind and tried to steal his wallet. A second suspect punched him in the face while the first removed his iPod.

On April 20, at 1:35 a.m., a Pizza Pizza employee making a delivery on Danforth and Pharmacy Avenues when he was punched and kicked to the ground by two men who attempted to search his pockets, but fled empty handed.
